Stella Steakhouse (rebrand)

An exciting new idea for the accompanying restaurant of the Stella Cinema in Rathmines, Dublin: to change & rebrand the Stella Diner, to upgrade the premises & attract more of the local foot fall. There was a need for more steak restaurants in the area - a high-end one, but still fun, full of cocktails & a very welcoming-to-all restaurant & branding vibe.

We explored the physical attributes of the beautiful old building itself, an old bank, using it’s details as design elements for the brand, combined with all that is steak, butcher & proper traditional meat cooking & it’s old knives & wooden blocks! The logo shape itself was born out of the front facade signage site, horizontal & a skinny space to fill, this logo was designed, in keeping with all that encompasses a proper, authentic steak restaurant!
